Ender's Game Alive by Orson Scott Card

I would describe this book is being completely different. This book provided me with a completely bast world of wonder. I didn't realize this was even a big series until I listened to the first book. The only reason I even gave you a chance was because it was free on audible. Sadly, the remainder of the series are not.

I didn't necessarily like Ender's character because of all his flaws. The narrator who did enter his voice was an adult man, so it was hard to picture him as a child throughout the book. I definitely think this book is out of the box when it comes to creativity. I will be looking into whether or not this has some sort of movie that goes with it.

Who would've thought children fighting Battle between the worlds? Where do you add up when the world is about to end? I like books that leave me pondering over what it would be like if it were true. Obviously, this book is not true and it is complete fiction, but I like to think about stuff like that anyway. I actually wonder if Ender's character is on the spectrum due to his ability to be highly focused at such a young age.

I would write this book a five out of five stars. It was both different and unexpected which made it a pleasant listen. I do want to know what's next for the series. This book ends with actually a beginning of maybe the second book? The author leaves us wondering if he will let the alien hatch or possibly keep her hidden as he travels through time and space.I don't know if I'm willing to spend the $18.50 for the next book. Perhaps audible will pick up the second book and make it a part of their catalogue as well.
