Credit Scores

Credit scores decides so much for us in a world where you always seem to have some sort of debt. From purchasing a car or home to applying for a new credit card. My medical debt is going to destroy my current score and I don't know if I will ever be able to recover from it.

The medical debt was sent to a debt collector agency who has hounded, threaten, and hassled me to death.  I requested a payment plan to be made at a decent set price not the $580, $432, and $518 payments they are requesting on the three different bills. The gentleman that called this morning said my payment of $285 for this month wasn't enough. Honestly, I think they should take any payment made and be happy. It's still paying toward the overall debt.

He threatened to put it on my credit report. This really upset me and honestly I have worked so hard to get my score where it is. I thought they couldn't do that unless you haven't paid anything toward the bill? I will be doing some research to see if his threats hold any value.

Credit Scores is a way of sorting society into sections. Those with better scores get the best finance percentages tacked on to their accounts. Even using Credit Karma, it has taken me four years to get in the 700 range. I'm absolutely heart broken to see it plummet. Maybe he is wrong. A payment is a payment.
