Hog Update!

Evidently, I wasn't the only person who was having "hog" problems. hehehehehe    Where I live most people grow little gardens within eye sight of their house. These hogs decided it would be awesome and fun to plow over old man Cable's garden.  Like most people, he became instantly mortified.

I would have paid good money to see what exactly happened. Hearing the story second hand really isn't giving me much of a visual. He called the owners and when they wouldn't do anything, the called the cops. I can just imagine what the conversation was over at dispatch. They must have laughed their butts off. When we arrived home I noticed that all the hogs were pinned up and that they were down their working to build a new pin. It was rumored that the old man ended up killing one of them to make a point. The point was clear, it was either the HOGS or NOTHING.

So, I guess that will be the talk of my neighborhood for a while. All twenty families that live down this two mile road will be talking about this for days. When nothing exciting ever happens, the smallest incidents will become rumors fast.

Speaking of small towns, while at the doctors office I had a run in with a nurse about doing blood work. My doctor had not requested it and I refused. You would be surprised at how fast news travels. Before I arrived home, grandma already knew what had happened and who all was involved. Talk about being embarrassed.  I can just see it now. Sunday morning prayer chain will have my name in it because of my attitude. Help me!
