Wait For You by Jennifer Armentrout


     This is the book series I have been waiting for. I cannot believe I haven't read this yet. Where have I been hiding? I'm a devout Armentrout fan already, but this series is by far the most captivating. Why wasn't this book made into a movie? Girl, if you haven't read this book series, what is stopping you?

    Avery's guarded main character energy kept me on the edge of my seat. I never knew what her next disastrous decision would be. She is/was faced with a terrible situation (rape) as a young teen and the audience gets to see how that shapes her as a young adult even attempting to end her life. 

    The story is spell binding as it unfolds. Love beyond hate and distrust of the male race. Cams enduring love and support helps guide her into making better decisions and healing from past emotional wounds including confronting her parents for taking a pay off to hide what had happened to her. I cannot wait to read the next installment of this series. Will we get to learn about the other characters in this group of friends? What is next for Avery and Cam? Will old ghosts come back to haunt Avery? 

    I would rate this book a 5 out of 5 stars. I need more stories that end with a happy ending! Armentrout has

      Counting on something is just another way to set yourself up. Each year I do this and you would think that I learned from the previous year's mistake, but NO I didn't. So here we are again sitting down here at the pout house thinking about how we are going to rebound from my expectations. The Teacher's Lie by Brid Cummings

     A book review at its finest. I think every book is worthy of a review, so here goes nothing. I think the overall story is worth your time, however, I feel like the person who read it aloud on audible did the book dirty. Her accent and weird pausing in the middle of sentences really threw me off as a reader. I actually went back and purchased a paper copy. The author kept me guessing throughout each chapter, but the book was slow moving. I would put it down often to just take a break.      I would give this book a 3 out of a 5 due to the pacing and sequencing of events in the plot. Do not listen to it on  Audible, because it's terrible and dry.

Life with four Children

 so...          Let's begin. I want to start out by saying that life isn't easy with four kids and a full time job! I honestly don't know how people do this successfully. As a foster parent, I'm still learning about all the invisible baggage that my kids brought with them.      There are nights when I don't get sleep, because they are afraid someone is coming to get them. My 16 year old fears the dark, loud nosies, and being left behind. I suggest all foster parents invest in personal flashlights. It seems to help when the they have their own. We have night lights every where, but that doesn't always help.      Develop and create a laundry routine.  I will only wash two loads of laundry each day.  There are around 6-7 people at my house on any given day, and we are NOT washing clothes all the time.  My children each have their own baskets.
