Half Way There
Lord, this week is dragging by so slowly that I think it will be virtually impossible to get to Friday. Everyday this week has been a dreaded "Monday" for me personally. While putting out hay I left the gate open. Massive mistake. UGH! I spent the better part of my morning trying to catch goats. I'm so glad they are food motivated.
This week I have locked myself out of my car four times along with not being able to find my keys. My child hid them in her toy box. I forgot my lunch twice and brought my coffee jug without actually putting coffee in it. I killed the copier at work and had to spend my planning period fixing the paper jam twice. Even missing a few meeting this week has drove me insane. I knew they were happening, but I forgot to set a reminder 10 minutes before and I didn't want to show up super late. I lost my planner only to find it outside on top of my car. Thankfully it didn't rain. My automatic stapler decided to have a mind of its own and started shooting out staples. One hitting and stabbing me in the chest. I threw that useless thing away. I have got up each morning consistently at 3:45 AM because my toddler has decided that's her new wake up time now. I'm running on fumes at the moment and I'm trying my best to finish this week. I made the effort to walk on my treadmill only to have my toddler pull the cord out of the outlet. The result was me falling and getting belt rash. She then decided to plug it back in and I was thrown into the wall before I could stand.
Yeah, so it's been a week!
Positives: I lost one of the new roosters my husband brought home, or did I? That evil thing attacked me and now he is gone. I was able to have 4 semi successful stations in my classroom this week. I started a new book which is in a man's perspective, so that's new and different. Half way to rest is what I'm rooting for now.
