Deathtrap by Dannika Dark


     Will our loving duo find who is kidnapping babies and murdering women in time? Raven and Christian are fighting their emotions of attraction while trying to fight crime. In this addition, Raven reveals that Christian was the one who saved her from a fire as a child. Will this add to the lust appeal these two characters are facing? 

    How can they remain fighting partners for Keystone while battling an internal love? Time will only tell which one wins out. 

    I would rate this book a 4.2 out of a 5. I was somewhat turned off by the latest reveals their epic love story. Being left with so many questions is infuriating as a reader. I will only have to read more to see if Dark redeems herself. I was overly curious concerning her father's knowledge of the Breed world. Could he have been a part of her life all along? Ah, the possibilities. 



I don't want to be a book spoiler, but man I want Shepard to have the total revenge he deserves.

Counting

      Counting on something is just another way to set yourself up. Each year I do this and you would think that I learned from the previous year's mistake, but NO I didn't. So here we are again sitting down here at the pout house thinking about how we are going to rebound from my expectations. The Teacher's Lie by Brid Cummings

     A book review at its finest. I think every book is worthy of a review, so here goes nothing. I think the overall story is worth your time, however, I feel like the person who read it aloud on audible did the book dirty. Her accent and weird pausing in the middle of sentences really threw me off as a reader. I actually went back and purchased a paper copy. The author kept me guessing throughout each chapter, but the book was slow moving. I would put it down often to just take a break.      I would give this book a 3 out of a 5 due to the pacing and sequencing of events in the plot. Do not listen to it on  Audible, because it's terrible and dry.

Life with four Children

 so...          Let's begin. I want to start out by saying that life isn't easy with four kids and a full time job! I honestly don't know how people do this successfully. As a foster parent, I'm still learning about all the invisible baggage that my kids brought with them.      There are nights when I don't get sleep, because they are afraid someone is coming to get them. My 16 year old fears the dark, loud nosies, and being left behind. I suggest all foster parents invest in personal flashlights. It seems to help when the they have their own. We have night lights every where, but that doesn't always help.      Develop and create a laundry routine.  I will only wash two loads of laundry each day.  There are around 6-7 people at my house on any given day, and we are NOT washing clothes all the time.  My children each have their own baskets.
