The Girl You Killed by Leslie Wolfe


     I looked on goodreads.com and saw that this book had a lot of negative reviews, but in actuality, it is a really good book with an awesome plot. Do I think it could really happen?.... Ummm maybe. I could definitely see a money, hungry husband committing the crime of poisoning his wife. 

    I immediately fell in love with this book and was swept away with who was going to die, and who did it. Obviously the title gives away so much. The readers instantly know someone will die and the book cover let you know it has something to do with a pendant.

     I would highly recommend this book to those who need a thriller and mystery book in your life. I hate that other reviewers completely rob this book of all of its potential. In my opinion, if you don't finish a book cover to cover, you have no right to do a review in the first place. I would write this book a 4.2 out of five stars. I know some of the things just seem unbelievable, but if you look past that, it has a really good sequence. I know it made my drive to and from work more interesting and doable at the same time.

Water Blisters?

      Working on the water during freezing temperatures has its battle scares. My gloves had grown stiff due to the water temperature and I carelessly removed them. My hand carries the results of that dumb choice. This is the first time I have never had this happen. I'm a little concerned as it seems to be spreading. I'll check in at Urgent Care this afternoon.

Lists Again

        While cleaning out some storage boxes today I found various books with list being used as book marks. These books are well worn and have been read dozens of times. The lists were left in chapters that I deemed important. I reread some of the saved items and soon discovered that I had a list of what my thirties need to look like. It's a laughable concept. I really had all these plans as to how my thirties would look and be. Let me share a few of them with you.  #4. I will be an independent woman that doesn't rely on any man.  #9. I will have obtained a master's degree in some field that has purpose.  #21. I will live somewhere far away from town.  #24. I will have the job I have been wanting my whole life.  #31.
