Plan

I think planning for anything takes up too much time. My child's 2nd birthday is slowly approaching and I'm frantically trying to get things done. I have a written plan of everything that needs to be done, bought, or paid for. With everything going on, I haven't been able to start checking off items.

She is turning two and I just really want her to experience a party. She didn't get one last year because we were having to take her back and forth to Mission Children's Oncology in Asheville, NC. We would have to cancel her appointment if she had a fever or runny nose. I was so overly cautious that we had a simply smash cake ordeal at home. Mom and I were the only ones to attend. Her dad was at work and couldn't take off. Taylor will not remember it, but I will. I felt horrible that she didn't really get to celebrate. The "mom guilt" was real!

This year I want things to be perfect. Cake, chips, and hotdogs here we come!
