Tires 1.

When the weather begins to warm up, I begin to plant! I'm super excited to say that this year my tires will be a success. Well.... hopefully.  Above is a picture of onions that have decided to come up from seeds. Yes!!!!   I'm super proud, and I don't know if that is weird or not. lol
A local gardner gave me some advise about adding manure to my tires for an extra boost. My neighbor has horses and she was more than happy to let me have some. I didn't realize how important it was to socialize with them. It was a great conversational starter and maybe this might lead to an awesome friendship. Living in a small town makes things pretty much known, but letting new people in on your hobbies is always a positive.    I can always use some guidance when it comes to planting, and thanks to my ghetto green house I was able to start most of my garden early.
This year has also brought me to planting an actual garden. My neighbor used his tractor to plow it up. Corn and potatoes here I come!!!   I'm super thankful to be surrounded by all these amazingly generous people.
This is how it all starts. I will have to cut and place these on the bank. It's just always nice to show people how the process starts. I learned today that these are actually considered to be raised beds.   It's always super nice to know that I'm doing something that isn't too weird.       I might enter the world of composting as well.   UMMMMMM   I don't know if its something that can be done. The local wild life does NOT need an additional reason to come into my yard.
