Snow IS OVERRATED!

I have spent the last two week cooped up in my home. Small towns are boring anyway, but to be trapped for days with the same three people is really tiring and not to mention debilitating. Luckily I did have the opportunity to have school on Monday. I really miss my students and having that time taken away will really hurt my curriculum guide.

I did find things to occupy my laziness.
The long days trapped inside my home resulted in cold freezing walks to the mail box. There is nothing as beautiful as a freshly fallen snow. I just love the way it attaches itself to the trees. As you can see it took several days before we attempted to drive the car down the driveway.
It seems as if I wasn't the only one who needed out to the house. Dad finally gave in and invited me to ride out to Rainbow Falls. The ice is now completely in the road and will soon be impassible. These pictures were taken before the ice got too bad. One memory that really hit me was the fact that my grandpa would risk life and limb every winter to drive out to see the ice. It's funny how the small things in life remind us of our loved ones.

My dog decided to have her puppies about four weeks ago. I was super excited, so these snow days has been a chance for me to bond with them. I really appreciate Black and Tans as a breed. They can be the most loyal friend and be the silliest dog. Her litter started out at ten, but we now only have seven. They all ready have homes, as soon as, they are ready. I can already see their personalities blossoming. Hopefully, they will be more like their mom!
Snow is overrated because it only confines you. Once it melts our yard will be a total mess, and sledding is impossible due to the lack of youth in my area. Doing such activities is rather weird. I believe I'll spend my remaining days by the ward heather and sip sugar free coco. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week!
