Having electricity is so convenient that when we don't have it, we go completely crazy. In the past few days there have been numerous storms that keep managing to knock the power poles down. We should be able to handle it, but some of our visiting tourists packed up and left early due to the power outage. I got to witness them complain about how rural our area was and how they would never come and visit again. Maybe they'll keep their word and never return. I spent the entire "outage" in the lake. I was like, "if its going to get hot.... I'm hitting the lake... bye!" The only thing I have to regret about the storms was my garden. The high winds knocked down all my corn. All that hard work was wasted in a single night. I guess it's just a part of being a gardener. It only had about two more weeks until harvest. I'll keep you guys posted, and I promise to include photos as well!
